The invention relates to a tangential  /  radial parallel 
hybrid excitation 
synchronous motor, belonging to 
hybrid excitation synchronous motors. Wherein, the 
stator is made up of a 
stator core and an armature winding, etc, the rotor is made up of a rotor core(3), a permanent 
magnetism piece(10),an excitation winding(4) and a rotating shaft(9),etc; the tooth of the rotor core is wined with excitation coils which are connected to form the excitation winding(4), the 
magnetic poles of different tools change alternately, the electric excitation field forms a radial structure, the permanent magnetismpiece(10) is inserted between two adjacent pole terminals(31) of the rotor core(3) ,the permanent 
magnetism field forms a tangential structure and two adjacent permanent 
magnetism pieces are parallel, and the polarity of the 
magnetic field is same as that generated by the excitation coils on the 
magnetic poles, which two together form the main 
magnetic field. The magnetic filed of the permanent magnetism and the excitation winding is also parallel, the main 
magnetic field can adjust easily and has the advantages of high excitation efficiency, great 
power density, convenient control, etc. Themotor with a simple structure can be a main generator of the device of the 
airplane, naval vessels, vehicle, etc; be a waterwheel, a steamer, an aerogenerator, etc; and also be a motor.
