The protection system comprises a battery room, a gas detector arranged in the battery room, an air inlet pipe, an adjusting valve arranged between an inert gas pipe network and the air inlet pipe, a gas exchange assembly, an air inlet assembly and an air exhaust assembly, the air inlet assembly comprising an air inlet fan and an air inlet valve, the air exhaust assembly comprising an air exhaust fan and an air exhaust valve, and a control box in communication connection with the gas detector, the adjusting valve, the gas exchange assembly and the door of the battery room. The application aims to reduce the risk of fire and explosion of the UPS battery room.
