The present invention provides a flexible abrasive product comprised of an open cell foam backing, a foraminous barrier coating and a shaped foraminous abrasive coating. The flexible abrasive article of the invention is made by applying a curable barrier coating over an open cell foam backing, curing the curable barrier coating to provide a foraminous barrier coating having openings therethrough corresponding to openings in the open cell foam, applying a coating composition comprising a curable binder and abrasive particles over the foraminous barrier coating, imparting a textured surface to the coating composition with a production tool which has a textured surface which is the inverse of the textured surface of the abrasive coating and to which production tool textured surface any coating composition coated over an opening of the first major surface may adhere, at least partially curing the binder, and separating the production tool from the textured surface to provide the shaped foraminous abrasive coating.

Included within the embodiments of this disclosure are flexible PV devices comprising a flexible base substrate onto which one or more ACPFs and / or TSPs is / are provided, as well as flexible PV devices wherein an ACPF or TSP itself constitutes the base substrate in the form of a stand alone film. Processes for making such flexible PV devices include roll-to-roll processes. PV devices disclosed herein will provide improved energy conversion efficiencies as a result of the delivery of sodium dopant into the absorber layer. Also disclosed are combinations of such PV devices and batteries that may store energy generated from the PV absorber. This disclosure also relates to shunt circuits for connecting the PV absorber to a battery in a combination PV / battery device and to array connectors for connecting such PV devices, either with or without batteries.

Release paper is placed on the adhesive on at least one side of the backing. When the carpet is ready to be installed the release paper from the side of the backing is removed so that the backing may be applied to a subfloor which may be a floor or pre-existing carpet. A carpet tile or carpet is placed on the top side of the backing. Thus, the present system provides dimensional stability to carpet tiles or carpet and to the existing floor.

Transportable package and system and method to form the same

A system and method to form a transportable package is disclosed. The method includes placing a frame on a suitable base and placing a collapsible bag inside the frame, wherein an open top portion of the collapsible bag is draped over an open top of the frame to support the collapsible bag in an open position. The collapsible bag is then filled with flowable particulate matter and a vacuum is drawn in the interior of the collapsible bag. While the vacuum is being applied, the frame is removed and the collapsible bag is spirally wrapped with a reinforcing material. The open top portion of the collapsible bag is then preferably sealed to form the transportable package.
