A plurality of already-composed music pieces are preferably analyzed to store a plurality of pieces of such music template information so that any users can select from the stored pieces of music template information. For a music piece to be composed, the user enters information indicative of a tendency relating to the number of notes, such as syllable information of desired words or scat words, in each section of the music piece. On the basis of one of the pieces of music template information supplied and the user-entered information indicative of the number-of-notes tendency (syllable information), the length and pitch of notes in each section can be determined, which permits automatic generation of music piece data. If the music template information is used with no modification, an automatically composed music piece will considerably resemble its original music piece. The user can freely modify the music template information to be used, so that a music piece different from its corresponding original music piece can be created with the user's intention reflected thereon. The music template information can be easily modified by any users having poor knowledge of composition, and the present composing technique can be easily used by everyone.

Chiral in-fiber polarizer apparatus and method

A chiral in-fiber polarizer implemented in a chiral fiber structure having a core and a cladding surrounding the core, is provided. The chiral polarizer includes an entry end for receiving incident light and an exit end for outputting polarized light, as well as a pitch variation along its length between the entry and exit ends in accordance with a predetermined desirable pitch profile, wherein in one embodiment of the inventive polarizer, the inverse value of the chiral structure's pitch at the exit end is less than at the entry end, and preferably substantially equal to zero. The pitch profile may be advantageously selected to correspond to one or more predetermined pitch configurations, may be determined in accordance with one or more mathematical functions, or may be random. In accordance with the present invention, at least one of various parameters of the chiral structure, including, but not limited to, the core and cladding refractive indices and sizes, and the pitch profile, may be configured and selected to substantially eliminate the undesirable polarization component of the incident light by achieving an optimized extinction ratio within a desired spectral range. In another embodiment of the inventive chiral polarizer, the pitch profile is selected and configured such that the inverse value of the chiral structure's pitch at the entry end of the chiral structure is also zero. This arrangement enables significant reduction of insertion loss of the incident light entering the entry end of the inventive polarizer.

The method comprises the following steps: a rotating speed error delta omega is obtained by subtracting the practical rotating speed omega practice of a current main bearing by the rotating speed expected value omega expectation of the current main bearing, a corresponding propeller pitch angle reference value beta reference is calculated by integrating a rotating speed difference delta omega and the variation tendency by a fuzzy controller, the propeller pitch angle reference value beta reference is transmitted to the wind powered generator unit which realizes the control of the propeller pitch angle for a propeller pitch variable actuating mechanism, and the pneumatic shape of a changed propeller pitch angle blade is changed so as to enable the bearing force of the changed propeller pitch angle blade to be changed and the rotating speed of the wind powered generator unit to trace the rotating speed expected value omega expectation. The invention relates to a pitch variation measuring device for a large-size straight toothed spur gear, which comprises a front positioning element 11, a rear positioning element 12, a center distance measuring gauge outfit 13, a radial measuring gauge outfit 14, a lever mechanism 16 and a body 15, wherein the center distance between the front positioning element 11 and the rear positioning element 12 can be changed and measured by the center distance measuring gauge outfit 13. Themethod includes the steps that whether gust occurs or not is judged according to rotating speed acceleration; when gust occurs, a pitch variation rate is calculated according to pneumatic resultant moment of a fan and pneumatic features of blades; and the blades are regulated according to the pitch variation rate. The rotating speed acceleration of the fan is selected as a threshold value variablefor judging occur of gust, thresholds under different wind speeds are obtained through comprehensive calculation according to operation power, a pitch angle and other variables of the fan, and thus the possibility of missed judging and erroneous judging can be reduced to the maximum extent.
