The invention relates to a method and a device for testing CO2
osmotic concentration of a full-size O-shaped ring of a CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and storage)
system, and belongs to the technical field of CCUS. The device comprises a cover plate, a CO2
detector connecting
pipe, a bottom plate and a CO2 introducing
pipe, wherein the cover plate is provided with a pore passage for testing the CO2 permeability concentration; the bottom plate is used for placing an O-shaped ring; the cover plate and the bottom plate are fixed through bolts distributed circumferentially, a groove is formed in the bottom plate and used for placing an O-shaped ring to be detected, a central hole is connected with a CO2 inlet
pipe, and a hole is formed in the cover plate and connected with a CO2
detector connecting pipe. During use, the O-shaped ring is arranged in the groove of the bottom plate, CO2 gas is introduced after the cover plate is fixed, and the concentration of CO2 permeated through the O-shaped ring is measured in real time through the
detector. The device has the advantages of being high in precision, good in stability, easy and convenient to operate and the like, the actual working conditions (including
contact pressure, dynamic sealing and other real service conditions) of the O-shaped ring in a CCUS
system can be directly simulated, and the direct penetration performance of CO2 to the O-shaped ring is effectively measured; the limitation that in the prior art, the permeability of the O-shaped ring can be indirectly calculated only by measuring the permeability of the sheet-shaped sample made of the same material is overcome, so that the actual leakage risk of the sealing element is reflected more truly, hidden dangers are found in time, and
safe operation of a
system is ensured.
