The invention discloses a high-strength turnout switch, and belongs to the technical field of railway assembly manufacture. The turnout switch comprises a straight basic rail and a curved point rail. The turnout switch is characterized in that: the surface, attached to the curved point rail, of the straight basic rail is a sunken vertical abutted surface; the surface, attached to the straight basic rail, of the curved point rail is a vertical abutted surface; and the rail head of the curved point rail is a flat rail head capable of being concealed in the sunken abutted surface of the straight basic rail. The turnout switch has the advantages that: the point end of the original curved point rail is widened to improve the strength of the point end of the curved point rail; and correspondingly the abutted surface of the straight basic rail is changed into the vertical abutted surface capable of accommodating the widened point end of the curved point rail, so that the transition distance from the point end of the curved point rail to the width of the complete rail head is shortened at the same time of ensuring abutting, namely the length of the weak section of the curved point rail is reduced, the load bearing capacity and the abrasion resistance of the curved point rail are improved, and the service life of the curved point rail is greatly prolonged. The turnout switch is particularly suitable to be used in heavy-duty line turnouts.

A railway sand table turnout outtrack simulating machine comprises an indoor control circuit and an outdoor turnout controller. The outdoor turnout controller comprises a polarized relay circuit, a micro turnout outtrack driving circuit, a time relay circuit, an indication circuit and an ampere meter indication circuit. The interior control circuit is connected with the outdoor turnout controller through a line X1, a line X2, a line X3 and a line X4. Tamping apparatus for railroad switch

The invention relates to a switching turnout tamping device. An oil motor is connected with an eccentric transmission mechanism by a gear transmission mechanism, wherein the middle part of each tamping arm is installed on and interlocked with the eccentric transmission mechanism, and clamping oil cylinders are respectively installed on the tamping arms. The other end of each clamping oil cylinder is fixed on each oil cylinder permanent seat of a box body, each pick wrist is connected with the lower part of each tamping arm by a pick arm pin roll, the pick wrists are respectively connected with each tamping pick, one end of each turnover oil cylinder is installed at each pick wrist, and the other of the turnover oil cylinder is fixed at each tamping arm. By utilizing the gear transmission, the switching turnout tamping device causes the eccentric transmission mechanism to drive the tamping arms to make the circular movement together; being retrained by the clamping oil cylinders, nodal points on the upper ends of the tamping arms force the lower tamping picks to make relative movement to generate elliptical vibration when the lower tamping picks are contacted with ballast, thereby compacting the ballast; and by the reciprocating movement of pistons, the clamping oil cylinders which are respectively arranged along both longitudinal sides of each sleeper cause the tamping picks on both sides to clamp the ballast. The switching turnout tamping device can cause the tamping picks to be turned over upwards so as to meet the different requirements of operations under double-pick, single-pick and non-pick downward insertion states.

Environmentally friendly compositions having antiicing, deicing or graffiti prevention properties

The present invention describes an aqueous, non-electrolytic, non-toxic, biodegradable, continuous single phase liquid anti-icing or deicing composition for use on the surfaces of, for example, aircraft, airport pavements, roadways, walkways, bridges, entrances, structures, canals, locks, components, vessels, nautical components, railroad switches, and motor vehicles. The anti-icing or deicing composition comprises: (a) water; (b) a non-toxic freezing point depressant selected from the group consisting of monohydric alcohols having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms, polyhydric alcohols having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms, monomethyl or ethyl ethers of polyhydric alcohols having from 3 to 12 atoms or mixtures thereof, wherein the freezing point depressant present is between about 14 to 60 percent by weight; (c) a thickener which is present in between about 0.01 and 10 percent by weight; and (d) optionally a corrosion inhibitor which is present in between about 0.01 and 0.1 percent by weight of the total composition. In one embodiment, the deicing composition further includes (e) a monohydric primary aliphatic unbranched alcohol as a means of forming a thin layer on the surface of the composition applied to the structure to be given ice protection, and / or as means of forming a homogenized foam with xanthan thickener; which alcohol is selected from the group consisting of alcohols having between 8 to 24 carbon atoms, preferably, 1-dodecanol. Compositions of water, propylene glycol, and / or propanol and xanthan are preferred. In another embodiments compositions preferably containing a polyol, such as glycerin, are used to produce a coating on an object or surface to protect it from graffiti such as paint, lacquer, ink and the like.
