The invention relates to a megawatt wind power simulation test system which is applied to the simulation test of a wind power generation unit to be tested. A dragging motor is sequentially connected with a torque meter and a gear box, the gear box and a hub of a wind power generation unit to be tested are connected through a coupling, a wind regime simulation device is in signal connection with a wind power test control system, a second power converter is electrically connected with a generator of the wind power generation unit to be tested, and the wind power test control system is electrically connected with a power-grid power distribution cabinet, a test power transformer, an electric switch cabinet, a first total power converter, the dragging motor, the torque meter, the gear box, a pitch control system on the hub of the wind power generation unit to be tested, a yaw system of the wind power generation unit to be tested, a low-voltage through simulation device, the second power converter and a test checkout system. According to the invention, tests such as a total power test, a yaw test, a pitch control test, a grid-connected power generation test and the like of various wind power generation units in a large power range can be realized.
