This invention relates to the field of display technology and discloses a method for fabricating a privacy
display device, the privacy
display device itself, and a terminal device. The method includes: providing a substrate layer, the substrate layer comprising a substrate, a thin-film
transistor layer, and a pixel definition layer stacked from bottom to top, the pixel definition layer including a plurality of first through-holes and a plurality of second through-holes, an
anode layer disposed within the first through-holes; forming a first
electrode layer on the pixel definition layer, the first
electrode layer being located in the second through-holes and electrically connected to the thin-film
transistor layer; forming an electrochromic layer on the side of the first
electrode layer away from the substrate; forming a pixel light-emitting unit on the side of the
anode layer away from the substrate; forming a transparent
cathode layer on the pixel light-emitting unit and the electrochromic layer, the transparent
cathode layer including a second electrode layer electrically connected to the electrochromic layer and a third electrode layer electrically connected to the pixel light-emitting unit; and forming an encapsulation layer encapsulating the transparent
cathode layer. This invention not only eliminates optical moiré patterns and improves light
transmittance but also reduces production costs.
