The invention relates to a particle filtering and regenerating device for a
bus. The particle filtering and regenerating device has a simple structure, small size, low manufacturing cost, and convenience in installation, and comprises a shell made of stainless steel materials, and a
ceramic filter for filtering particles in
tail gas discharged by the
bus, wherein an air inlet
pipe connected with an exhaust port of an engine is arranged on the front end of the shell; an
exhaust pipe is arranged on the rear end of the shell; a bypass
pipe for discharging the particles is arranged on the shell; a
butterfly valve is arranged on the bypass
pipe; and a pneumatic element, an
electromagnetic valve and a controller for controlling the
electromagnetic valve are arranged. When the
bus is parked in a fixed site, a connector on the end part of the
exhaust pipe is connected with a
compressed air source which is outside the bus and is used for regenerating, the
compressed air is injected to drop the particles from the filter, the dropped particles enter into a particle collection device outside the bus through the bypass pipe, and the size of the particle collection device corresponds to the size of a silencer on the bus, so that the modification is convenient.
