An indoor ceiling air conditioning unit comprises an upper mounting plate (1), a middle partition plate assembly (2), and a lower mounting plate (3), which are disposed in sequence from top to bottom. Via the top-to-bottom arrangement of the at least one air inlet and the at least one air outlet, as well as the disposition of the heat exchanger (5) adjacent to the air inlet, when the fan (4) is operated to suck air, the airflow speed at the surface of the heat exchanger (5) can be rendered uniform, thereby achieving higher heat exchange efficiency per unit area. Moreover, the air blown out by the fan (4) can be prevented from blowing onto the heat exchanger (5), thereby reducing noise and loss of kinetic energy.
