The invention discloses a window-type air conditioner, which comprises an indoor panel, a case, an evaporator, an indoor fan, a condenser, an outdoor fan, a compressor and a base plate; an upper centrifugal fan is selectively separated from a fan motor shaft; when the upper centrifugal fan is separated from the fan motor shaft, a lower centrifugal fan runs and the upper centrifugal fan stops; and when the upper centrifugal fan is connected with the fan motor shaft, the upper centrifugal fan and the lower centrifugal fan synchronously run under the drive of a fan motor. When the upper centrifugal fan is separated from the fan motor shaft, the lower centrifugal fan runs, the upper centrifugal fan stops, air enters the case from an air inlet grid at the bottom of the case, the air pressure in the case rises, and a part of air outwards flows from the air inlet grid on the upper wall of the case, so that falling leaves and sundries covered at the upper air inlet grid can be blown away, and the air inlet capacity of the upper air inlet grid is recovered.
