The invention relates to an electromechanical
machine for converting animal skins into leather, consisting of a
machine intended to participate in one or more steps of a process for converting any animal skins into leather. The
machine is characterized in that it comprises: a main tank (1) in which the
animal skin (3) is immersed in a treatment fluid, called syrup (2), containing one or more additives; an
impeller suction motor pump (4) circularly conveys the syrup (2) through a water outlet
pipe (5) to a
reversing valve (5.1), the
reversing valve guides the syrup (2) to one or more filters (6), guides the treatment fluid to a heater (7) or a bypass
pipe (5.3), and finally reaches a group of storage tanks (8), and the storage tanks (8) are connected with the water outlet
pipe (5). The filter is preferably a slow sand type filter, a decanter type filter, a
settling tank type filter, an
ozone or UVC
ultraviolet radiation disinfection type filter, a
zeolite type filter, an
activated carbon type filter, an
anthracite type filter, a
silicon dioxide type filter, an argenite type filter or a
copper ion generator type filter, and an opening / closing valve (5.2) is arranged on a pipeline behind the
reversing valve (5.1). The syrup (2) is then stored and then discharged into the main tank (1) via a return line (5.4). The machine is provided with a gear motor (9), and the gear motor transmits power through a rotating shaft (10) provided with a clamp (13) at the end. The clamp is arranged opposite to another same clamp (13) mounted on the sliding shaft (11); the machine is provided with a fixed stop block (15.1) fixedly connected with the main tank (1) and a movable stop block (15) fixedly connected with the sliding shaft (11); a spiral spring (14) is mounted between the two stop blocks; when the length of the spiral spring changes, the spiral spring can control the reversing device (16), and then the rotating direction of the gear motor (9) is adjusted. The machine is provided with a programmable central computer, and the computer is controlled according to the required characteristics of each
animal skin in the aspects of color, tanning agent type, fatliquoring agent type, fixing agent type and the like.
