The invention relates to a method for preparing
cockroach insecticide tablets by Sichuan pepper
essential oil. The method comprises the following steps: crushing Sichuan pepper by utilizing a
crusher according to a ratio of 10ml to 15ml of a Sichuan pepper
essential oil extract liquid, 400ml of absolute ethyl
alcohol, 100ml of tween 80 and 100g to 150g of
agar, adding
distilled water to soak the crushed Sichuan pepper, and extracting the Sichuan pepper
essential oil extract liquid for standby use in a vapor distilling method; uniformly mixing the absolute ethyl
alcohol and tween 80, and then adding the Sichuan pepper essential oil extract liquid to obtain the Sichuan pepper essential oil insecticide slow-release preparation; adding the
agar into the
distilled water, heating and dissolving the
agar, cooling the agar, and slowly adding the essential oil insecticide slow-
release agent prepared in the step 2 into the agar solution, heating and stirring the
mixed solution, uniformly mixing the
mixed solution, and slowly pouring the
mixed solution into a hollow cylindrical forming mold to prepare a cylindrical
round bar;
cutting the cylindrical
round bar into tablets; and applying the glue on one side of each tablet to prepare the
cockroach insecticide tablet. The method is simple in preparation process, low in cost and diversified in applicable environments, and the repellent rate of the prepared
cockroach insecticide tablet for
American cockroach and
German cockroach can reach 88 to 100 percent.
