cosmetics and process to reduce the sticky effect felt during its application. Aqueous gel comprising from 0.5% wt to 5.0% wt of a crosslinked anionic
polyelectrolyte (PA) comprising from 5.0% mol to 95.0% mol of monomeric units from 2-methyl-2-((1-oxo-2-
propenyl)amino)-1-propanesulfonic acid partially or totally salified as an
alkali salt or
ammonium salt, from 4.9% mol to 90.0% mol of monomeric units of N,N-dialkylacrylamide and from 0.1% mol to 5.0% mol of monomeric units from a
monomer of formula CH2=C(CH3)-C(=O)-O-(CH2-CH2-O-)n-R5; from 0.5%
mass to 9.5%
mass, either of an alkanol of formula R1-OH, or of a mixture of alkanols of formula R1-OH; or of a composition (C) of
alkyl polyglycosides represented by the formulas R1-O-(G)xH, in which G represents either the remainder of glucose or the remainder of
xylose and x represents a decimal number between 1.05 and 2.05;either a mixture (M) of said alkanol of formula R1-OH or of said mixture of alkanols of formula R1-OH and of said composition (C); from 0.0%
mass to 3.0% mass one or more cosmetic active ingredients and the quantity of water necessary to make up to 100% mass in which the
mass ratio (RM) having as numerator the mass of the alkanol(s) of formula R1-OH, or the mass of said composition (C) or the mass of said mixture (M) and as denominator, the mass of said cross-linked anionic
polyelectrolyte (PA), is greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to 10; cosmetic
skin care process using said aqueous gel; use, either of said alkanol of formula R1-OH, or of a mixture of alkanols of formula R1-OH, or of said composition (C) or of said mixture (M), with a view to reducing or eliminating the sticky effect felt when applying to the
skin an aqueous gel comprising said anionic
polyelectrolyte (PA);process for reducing or eliminating the sticky feeling experienced when applying an aqueous gel comprising said anionic polyelectrolyte (PA) to the
skin by modifying its composition before application to the skin, by adding either the alkanol(s) of formula R1-OH, or said composition (C), or said mixture (M).;
