Researches find that nicotinamide ribose (NR) treatment can effectively improve the sensitivity of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tumor (PDAC) cells to gemcitabine, and NR and gemcitabine are combined to show a remarkable synergistic effect and remarkably promote tumor cell death. In a spontaneous PDAC model, NR single-drug treatment also shows an inhibition effect on the occurrence and development process of PDAC precancerous lesions.
