The invention provides a self-defined 
elevator simulation method and 
system, and aims to solve the problem of the requirement of the required space position of a lift shaft for setting up a simulationplatform of an 
elevator control system. According to the method and the 
system, the lift shaft in the real space is not needed, mechanical and electrical components of the 
simulation platform do notneed to be considered, all operation of a real 
elevator can be realized, and use conditions in the reality can be simulated. The 
system comprises an encoding adapter board, an encoding 
signal board and a lift shaft 
simulation control mainboard, wherein the encoding adapter board is connected with an 
encoder of a traction 
machine, and the encoding 
signal board is butted between the encoding adapterboard and the lift shaft 
simulation control mainboard. The method comprises the following steps that the lift shaft 
simulation control mainboard is in 
butt joint with the 
elevator control system andthe traction 
machine separately, an elevator running simulation instruction for simulating an actual operation 
scenario is sent to the 
elevator control system through lift shaft 
simulation control mainboard, the traction 
machine of an elevator is driven to carry out testing and operation for various conditions, and all channel signals output by the traction machine 
encoder are collected in real time to test the action response of the traction machine.
