The invention relates to a method for preparing a high-activity water-reactive
metal material for melting ice or
snow, and belongs to the technical field of ice removal. The method comprises the following steps of: mixing
metal powder, a catalyst and inorganic salt; setting ball-milling parameters of a
ball mill, namely setting a ball-to-material ratio, a ball-milling rotate speed, cycle times, ball-milling time and the like; and putting the
mixed materials and a mill ball into the
ball mill, milling and combining according to a set ball-milling process to obtain a
metal material, and scattering the metal material on the surface of frozen ice or frozen
snow uniformly, wherein the active material reacts and releases heat, and the ice and the
snow are melted with the reaction of the active material on the surface of the frozen ice or the frozen snow, are separated from the bottom and are melted completely. In the method, the high-activity water-reactive metal material is prepared by a high-energy ball-milling process, and the active material reacts on the surface of the frozen ice or the frozen snow quickly and releases the heat, and has an obvious effect on the quick melting of the frozen ice or the frozen snow.
