A non-frame television program guide notification system is provided. The system allows a user at a system to order and receive notifications of non-frame television programs. The user can order notifications by selecting a program or supplying a program title directly. The user can specify when and how often the notifications will be generated and received. If desired, the user can view a list of all currently requested notifications. Entries can be added to the list or the user can cancel a previously ordered notification.

Absolute pose in the sense of the present invention means both the position and the orientation of the item as described in a stable frame defined in that three-dimensional environment. The invention describes how to recover the absolute pose with optical hardware and methods, and how to map at least one of the recovered absolute pose parameters to the three translational and three rotational degrees of freedom available to the item to generate useful input. The applications that can most benefit from the interfaces and methods of the invention involve 3D virtual spaces including augmented reality and mixed reality environments.

A method and apparatus is described for producing a translucent image over a base image created on the display screen of a computer system by a selected first application program, and conducting image operations either on the base image created by the selected application program with reference to the translucent image produced, or conducting image operations on the translucent image with reference to the base image of the first application program. The method generates a token in response to an arriving interrupt; determines a group of cores to be preferentially used to handle the interrupt as a hot group in accordance with the interrupt; and sends the token to the hot group, determines sequentially from the first core in the hot group whether an interrupt dispatch termination condition is satisfied, and determines the current core as a response core to be used to handle the interrupt upon determining satisfaction of the interrupt dispatch termination condition. With the invention, delay in responding to an interrupt by the processor is reduced providing optimized performance of the processor.

An ink system for use in an inkjet printing apparatus includes an inkjet printhead, a supply subtank for containing a supply of an ink to the inkjet printhead, and a return subtank for containing a surplus of the ink not used by the inkjet printhead. The system is comprised of a chamber defining a region, and a generator for generating vaporized hydrogen peroxide from a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. A destroyer breaks down the vaporized hydrogen peroxide, and sensors upstream and downstream from the destroyer are operable to sense moisture in the system and provide electrical signals indicative thereof. A method for determining endpoint of plasma processing of a semiconductor wafer includes providing a light source, and providing a lens system to collimate and align light from the light source to an active surface of the semiconductor wafer. A plurality of light detector fibers are interleaved among light source fibers which transmit light from the light source to the lens system. In one embodiment, the second chemical preconditions the biologically active substances to be deactivated more efficiently by the oxidizing vapor. In another embodiment, the second chemical boosts the reactivity of the oxidizing vapor. In another embodiment, the other chemical reacts with the oxidizing vapor to form an intermediate compound that deactivates at least some of the biologically active substances.
