The invention provides a tool for installing and fixing a dual permanent magnet power frequency brushless synchronous generator magnetic shoe. The tool comprises a circular ring, bolts and positioning pins; a plurality of threaded hole groups with the same quantity of the poles of a generator are drilled on the circular ring; the number of the threaded holes in each group is twice as the number of permanent magnet blocks on the circumference of each pole; and each threaded hole is provided with a bolt; the internal side of the circular ring is provided with two or four positioning pins for fixing a tool ring; the positions of the positioning pins are located at the rotor poles; and the materials of the circular ring, the bolts and the positioning pins are made of non-magnetic-conduction materials. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the tool is simply structured, reasonably designed and is easy to process and manufacture. The method for installing and fixing the dual permanent magnet power frequency brushless synchronous generator magnetic shoe is simple and convenient, and the installation reliability is high, thereby avoiding the potential safety hazard existing in operation of the generator.
