A fixture for displaying merchandise and a method are provided. The fixture includes a generally vertical back panel having opposed lateral edges and opposed top and bottom edges. The back panel defines at least one engageable member extending in a generally horizontal direction between the lateral edges. In addition, the fixture includes at least one generally vertical partition having at least one cooperative engaging member removably attached to the engageable member of the back panel. The vertical partition extends substantially between the top and bottom edges of the back panel, and further extends generally orthogonal from the back panel and generally orthogonal to the engageable member on the back panel. The vertical partition is advantageously slidable in a lateral direction to define variable lateral positions on the back panel.

A cookware lid assembly having a whistling handle and a removable flexible sealing band that extends around a flange on the lid. The sealing band secures the lid to the cookware to prevent the lid from being dislodged from the cookware as pressure inside the cookware increases or as water in the cookware comes to a boil. The handle has a hole in it that generates as whistling noise when the pressure in the cookware increases. A movable slide in the handle allows the hole in the lid to be closed or remain fully or partly open. The slide also allows the volume and pitch of the whistle to be adjusted.

A system for rapid collection of large volumes of dissolved gases from groundwater pumps the water from a large-diameter passage through a small-diameter restrictor passage, and then into a flow-through collection chamber. The small-diameter passage causes a drop in the hydrostatic pressure of the groundwater traveling therein, causing spontaneous ebullition of gas bubbles, which are then collected in the collection chamber. A treatment station within the passages selectively alters the concentration of dissolved gases within the groundwater. Testing reveals that the gases are collected in proportion to their presence in the groundwater, and thus the system allows accurate quantification of concentrations of dissolved gas in groundwater. The system may beneficially be made easily portable, thereby allowing its use in the field, as well as in laboratory settings.

A flooring system includes a plurality of individual flooring pieces, such as floor panels, each having a wear surface, an opposing mounting surface and a retention groove disposed within the mounting surface. A floor panel connector used to interconnect at least two of the floor panels has a base, at least one mast extending from an upper surface of the base and a pair of flexible arms. Each flexible arm extends transversely from opposing sides of the at least one mast and has an extending end. The expressors each have a cup for fitting on the breasts and a cup outlet to which a vacuum created by the pump can be connected. In use, the vacuum expresses the milk from the breast. The device has a vacuum adjustment and a vacuum release on each expressor. In this manner, the vacuum can be individually adjusted and released at the expressors. The pump includes a movable diaphragm in a chamber. The diaphragm is oscillated back and forth by a linear actuator motor such as a stepper motor. The motor has a shaft which moves back and forth axially, for direct linkage to the diaphragm, so that the size and weight of the pump are reduced. The expressors have a removable cap and removable cup assembly, and the cup assembly has a positively sealed liner, for easy disassembly and cleaning.
