The invention provides a nuclear medical radioactive
wastewater treatment system and method.The
system comprises a pre-
precipitation chamber, a buffer chamber, an adsorption chamber, a
sewage decay chamber and a
sludge decay chamber, two sets of baffles are arranged in the pre-
precipitation chamber and divide the pre-
precipitation chamber into three cavities, the baffles can prevent large-size solids in
wastewater from entering the next pre-cavity, and therefore the large-size solids in the
wastewater can be prevented from entering the next pre-cavity; large-size solids naturally precipitate to the bottoms of the chambers and are discharged into the
sludge decay chamber, wastewater can enter the next chamber after penetrating through a gap in the middle of the baffle, adsorption,
flocculation and precipitation are completed after the wastewater enters the adsorption chamber through the buffer chamber, and radionuclides are separated into
sludge from the wastewater through
solid-liquid separation. In subsequent treatment, only a small amount of sludge containing radionuclides needs to be discharged into the sludge decay chamber for long-time storage decay, and a large amount of separated wastewater is discharged into the
sewage decay chamber for short-time storage and can be directly discharged, so that the use efficiency of the decay tank is greatly improved. The method has the advantages of simple process flow and less secondary waste, and realizes efficient
volume reduction and rapid purification treatment of nuclear medical radioactive wastewater.
