This invention provides a
tobacco leaf trimming device and control method. The device includes a first conveyor platform, a second conveyor platform, and a third conveyor platform arranged sequentially along the
tobacco leaf conveying direction, as well as a trimming roller
assembly located in the
discharge area of the third conveyor platform. Each of the three conveyor platforms is driven by an independent drive mechanism, and the conveying speed increases progressively along the
tobacco leaf conveying direction. The trimming roller
assembly includes trimming rollers and a tobacco leaf guide
assembly. After the tobacco leaves are gradually extended through the three conveyor platforms, they enter the trimming roller assembly for trimming under the guidance and limiting of the tobacco leaf guide assembly. The third conveyor platform constitutes a stable feeding section before the tobacco leaves enter the trimming roller assembly. The control method includes controlling the operation of each of the three conveyor platforms and gradually increasing their conveying speed, and coordinating the conveying speed of the third conveyor platform with the rotation speed of the trimming rollers. This invention improves the continuity, stability, and safety of tobacco leaf trimming operations.
