The invention relates to a process for preparing sobering-up decoction. The sobering-up decoction comprises glossy ganoderma, kudzu root flower, tsao-ko, fresh ginger, chrysanthemum, radix sophorae falvescentis, muskatel, orange peel, corn mint and honey. The process for preparing sobering-up decoction comprises the following steps: adding 10-20g of the glossy ganoderma, 17-25g of the kudzu root flower, 7-12g of the tsao-ko, 15-20g of the fresh ginger, 18-24g of the chrysanthemum, 7-11g of the radix sophorae falvescentis and 4-8g of the muscatel into an earthen pot, then adding clean water and braising for 0.5-2 hour with mild fire, filtering out a decoction, adding 14-22g of the orange peel and 9-16g of the corn mint into the decoction, braising for 0.5-1 hour with mild fire, filtering out a new decoction, and cooling the new decoction to natural temperature and then adding the honey, and thus obtaining the sobering-up decoction which can be drunk. The process for preparing the sobering-up decoction has the advantages that the sobering-up decoction can quickly decompose alcohol in the human body, and the sobering-up effect is remarkable; the sobering-up decoction has good effects of relieving headache, preventing or arresting vomiting, dispersing wind heat after ebriety, and stopping diarrhea; and the decoction is safe in administration, has no side or toxic effect, and is easy to prepare.
