The detection method comprises the following steps of: collecting pressure data of the two ends of the pipeline; sending the data to the ARM processor; confirming the position of a leakage point; if the leakage point does not locate on the two ends of the pipeline, then carrying out a judgment by utilizing a neural network module; and if the leakage exists, then generating an alarm. The invention can effectively decrease false alarm rate, reduce false judgments and omitted judgments; and through judging on a suspected leakage curve, manually increasing a target vector database, and perfecting an expert database, the invention is beneficial to improving analysis and perceptivity of operators on a leakage curve.
