The invention relates to the technical field of industrial
automation control, in particular to a conveying line speed measuring
system and method based on double photoelectric sensors, and the
system comprises the double photoelectric sensors and a
data processing unit, the double photoelectric sensors are used for detecting passing states of goods on the conveying line and outputting pulse signals; the
data processing unit is used for capturing the
time difference of the pulse signals output by the double photoelectric sensors and calculating the real-time speed of the conveying line. According to the method, two photoelectric sensors are installed in the running direction of a conveying line at a
fixed interval, and a detection area is formed; when the goods pass through the two photoelectric sensors, respectively detecting time points when the goods pass through each sensor; and the
time difference between the two time points is calculated, the real-time running speed of the conveying line is calculated, and the real-time running speed is output to the automatic equipment. According to the invention, a non-contact real-time on-line
speed measurement function is realized, and measurement errors caused by slipping and material accumulation can be eliminated.
