The invention discloses a boiler used for treating papermaking waste liquor. The boiler comprises a boiler body, a drum, convection pipe bundles, a convection pipe bundle lower header I, a convection pipe bundle lower header II, an economizer, an air pre-heater and a supporting assembly. The boiler body is composed of a combustion chamber and a smoke buffering area. The combustion chamber communicates with the smoke buffering area. The multiple convection pipe bundles are arranged in the smoke buffering area side by side. A steam-water separating device is arranged in the drum, the combustion chamber is fixed to the supporting assembly, and the drum is arranged on the top of the combustion chamber. The convection pipe bundle lower header I and the convection pipe bundle lower header II are fixed to the lower portion of the combustion chamber. The convection pipe bundle lower header I communicates with the convection pipe bundle lower header II. The combustion chamber is a square frame defined by a front wall, a rear wall, a left wall and a right wall in a mutual buckling manner. According to the boiler, the papermaking waste liquor can be combusted as much as possible, and accordingly, heat of organic matter in the waste liquor is recycled; and in addition, the temperature of the smoke can be reduced in the smoke discharging process, meanwhile, the flow speed of the smoke can be reduced, and sedimentation and capturing of sodium carbonate in the smoke are convenient.
