This invention relates to the field of bearing testing technology, specifically to a bearing
assembly testing device and method. The device includes a testing base with a testing fixture rotatably connected to it for fixing the bearing. A vibration
detector is mounted on the testing base, with one end of the
detector contacting the
bearing surface. The invention utilizes an adjustment
assembly with three positioning rods and contact blocks on a slide. Pushing the slide allows the contact blocks to apply an
axial load to one end of the bearing for initial testing. To test the other side, the contact blocks are retracted using the adjustment
assembly, the slide is pushed past the bearing to reach the other side, and then the contact blocks are extended again and the slide is pulled back to apply a reverse load. This design, by applying pressure to both sides of the bearing using the same loading mechanism, completely eliminates the
blind spot caused by unilateral loading, ensuring consistency between the two testing conditions. Furthermore, it eliminates the need to disassemble the bearing, significantly improving the comprehensiveness, reliability, and efficiency of the testing.
