According to the method for removing the wefts in the
harpoon position area of the screen, the wefts in the width area of the
waist line groove in the
harpoon position are removed, so that the width of the
waist line groove, corresponding to the
harpoon position area, of the screen cloth is reduced, the usage amount of
slurry is reduced, and the
screen printing cost is reduced. The method comprises the following steps of: performing
laser cutting processing on
waist line grooves on the mesh cloth according to the positions of two waist lines in a harpoon position area in advance, so that the mesh knot area of the
tungsten wire mesh cloth corresponding to the areas of the two
waist line grooves is completely exposed, and then identifying the
waist line grooves in the harpoon position area through a high-precision camera; the obtained visual coordinate data are converted into
laser coordinate data through
laser and camera calibration, when
laser cutting is conducted, the laser displacement module rapidly moves according to the positions of the wefts in the
kidney-shaped groove area, the wefts between the positions of every two warps are
cut off through laser, and the
laser cutting is completed. Therefore, the
latitude line corresponding to the
waist line groove in the harpoon position area is
cut and eliminated, and only the
longitude tungsten filament is left.
