astragalus root, 2 to 5 percent of
coptis root, 2 to 4 percent of stiff silkworm, and 3 to 5 percent of
puffball seed. The 16 raw medicaments are soaked into water and decocted, residue is removed, and filtrate is obtained. The soup is low in cost and high in
curative effect of treating the mumps, does not have toxic or
side effect, has the effects of dispelling wind, clearing heat, detoxifying, eliminating swelling and removing stasis, is suitable for epidemic heat syndrome and heat
toxin blocked channel syndrome and the like, and does not cause
sequela and complication after healing.
