Alfalfa is a legume hay in the pea family and is sometimes called “lucerne”. These hays are higher in protein and minerals and are more palatable than grass hays.

An alfalfa yield estimation method based on multispectral and physically constrained sample enhancement

The application focuses on the field of agricultural informatization and remote sensing application technology, and particularly relates to a kind of alfalfa yield estimation method based on multispectral and physical constraint sample enhancement. The method first acquires unmanned aerial vehicle multispectral image data corresponding to the alfalfa growth period, and lays out field quadrats with equal area in the image coverage area, collects measured data of alfalfa hay yield, leaf area index, chlorophyll content and leaf equivalent water thickness, and constructs an initial sample set. Then, input each parameter data within a reasonable range, generate predicted multispectral samples that meet the physical consistency constraint using the radiation transfer model, to expand the sample space. The measured samples and predicted samples are fused to construct an alfalfa hay yield estimation training data set. Based on the training data set, a mapping model between unmanned aerial vehicle multispectral features and alfalfa hay yield is established, and the alfalfa hay yield is estimated through machine learning.

A type of alfalfa harvesting and hay-raking equipment

ActiveCN224419431UAlfalfa hayAgricultural science
This utility model relates to the field of agricultural machinery and equipment. Specifically, it is an alfalfa harvesting and hay-raking device, including a protective shell with wheels rotatably connected to the bottom of the shell, and a swing arm rotatably connected to both sides of the protective shell. A material-feeding component is fixedly connected to the side of the swing arm away from the protective shell. The device uses a corrugated sleeve to prevent dust and other impurities from adhering to the screw surface during operation, which could cause the adjusting block to jam. By setting the material-feeding component, when the protrusion rotates to the inner side of the device with the hay-raking disc, the limiting wheel contacts the protrusion. At this time, the limiting wheel will press down on the protrusion, causing the compression spring to be compressed. After being compressed, the protrusion drives the guide rod, the fixing frame, and the top block to move downwards synchronously. When the top block moves downwards, it can push the alfalfa hay stuck between the spring teeth downwards, effectively preventing the alfalfa hay from accumulating and jamming between the spring teeth, and ensuring the smooth operation of hay-raking.
