The invention discloses an inorganic-organic multi-shell
toughening agent and a preparation method thereof. According to the
toughening agent,
nano silicon dioxide serves as a core layer, the surface of the core layer is sequentially coated with
titanium dioxide,
zirconium oxide, polydopamine and
omega-methyl undecylenate to obtain the
toughening agent, and the
nano silicon dioxide is prepared through an optimized Stober method and is uniform in particle size. According to the toughening agent disclosed by the invention, the inorganic core is coated with the multiple
layers of organic shells, so that the problems that a conventional toughening agent is easy to
agglomerate, poor in
dispersity and poor in compatibility are solved, and meanwhile, adverse effects on the
heat resistance and rigidity of a thermosetting olefinic unsaturated resin material are avoided; through strong bonding and crosslinking of
organic layer double bonds and resin double bonds, the compatibility and
dispersity of the toughening agent and a
resin matrix are effectively enhanced, the remarkable toughening effect on a thermosetting olefinic unsaturated resin curing
system is achieved from multiple angles, and meanwhile the comprehensive performance such as
toughness, mechanical performance,
heat resistance and processability of the material is enhanced.
