Disclosed is a reinforced road guardrail. The reinforced road guardrail comprises a front fence plate and a rear fence plate, first turned edges are arranged at the positions, located at the top and the bottom of the front fence plate, in a cavity, second turned edges extend from the ends of the first turned edges, third turned edges are arranged at the positions, located at the top and the bottomof the rear fence plate, in the cavity, and fourth turned edges extend from the ends of the third turned edges. The protective guard further comprises two rectangular strips, a rectangular through hole is formed in each rectangular strip, a sliding groove is formed in the end face of each rectangular strip, the sliding grooves are communicated with the rectangular through holes, the two first turnups are tightly attached to one side faces of the two sliding grooves respectively, the two third turnups are attached to the other side faces of the two sliding grooves respectively, and a pluralityof tension springs are arranged between the two rectangular strips at intervals. The two second flanges are attached to the side face, provided with the sliding groove, of the rectangular through hole, and the two fourth flanges are attached to the side face, provided with the sliding groove, of the rectangular through hole. The highway guardrail solves the technical problem that an existing highway guardrail is low in strength.
