A bearing structure for a shielded electric pump includes: a rotating shaft (2) that rotates integrally with the rotor (12) of a
motor unit (11); bearings (3a, 3b) that are embedded in a housing-side bearing housing (32a, 32b) provided in the pump unit (31) via an elastic thin plate (33), supporting the rotating shaft (2) in a vertical direction for
free rotation; and bearing-supported members (4a, 4b) that are axially fixed between the rotor (12) of the
motor unit (11) and the bearings (3a, 3b). The rotating shaft (2) is axially supported by bearings (3a, 3b) to be rotatable; and the impellers (6a, 6b) rotate integrally with the rotating shaft (2), and in a shielded electric pump (8) in which a portion of the liquid transported due to the rotation of the impellers (6a, 6b) flows between the rotating shaft (2) and the bearings (3a, 3b), an elastic reaction force is imparted axially when the bearings (3a, 3b) are pushed by the bearing-supported members (4a, 4b) to the side opposite to the rotor (12).
