The invention relates to the field of catalyst preparation, and discloses a preparation method of a hydrodemetallization catalyst. The catalyst prepared by the method is high in mechanical strength, is suitable in pore structure, is moderate in effect of activecomponents and carriers, and is high in hydrodemetallization activity and activity stability.
