The system comprises a CCD (charge coupled device) camera, an AD (analog to digital) converter, a digital image processor, an SDRAM (synchronous dynamic random access memory), a 3G (3rd generation telecommunication) communication module, a first zigbee module, a second zigbee module, an information publishing controller, an LED (light-emitting diode) display screen and a temperature detection device, wherein the AD converter is respectively connected with the CCD camera and the digital image processor which is respectively connected with the SDRAM, the 3G communication module, the first zigbee module and the temperature detection device, the second and first zigbee modules perform data transmission by a wireless network, and the information publishing controller is respectively connected with the second zigbee module and the LED display screen. The digital photography-based agglomerate fog real time early warning system and method overcome the defects of complex structure, expensive cost, information collection difficulty, not obvious warning effect and the like of a traditional agglomerate fog early warning system, and the system has good upgradability and maintainability.
