A wheel end assembly for a heavy-duty vehicle includes an axle spindle and a hub rotatably mounted on the axle spindle. A main seal extends radially between the axle spindle and the hub. The single LED backed with a heat sink is driven by a driving circuit and controlled by a timing circuit. A temperature monitor can be included in a closed loop to feed back and control the driver. A modular turbine generator includes both a turbo generator, and electrical power conditioning and control circuitry. During conditions of high ambient temperature the turbo generator may lose both power output and efficiency, while the electrical circuitry suffers from shortened service life or failure because of the high temperatures experienced. In order to preserve power output and efficiency for the turbo generator, as well as extending the service life span for the electrical power conditioning and control circuitry, a dual function evaporative cooler is provided. We propose to shape the leaf by the use of electro-chemical machining (ECM). ECM is a technique by which a blank is suspended within a mould, with a small gap therebetween. A conductive fluid is caused to flow through the gap, and a large electrical current is passed from the mould to the blank. The blank steadily erodes, dissolving into the fluid. The fluid should not provoke a reaction from the material of the blank, such as a surface oxide. Sodium Chloride solution is a common choice. The current that is passed can, if desired, be controlled to a profile that will affect the manner of erosion. Thus, the current profile can be a steady on/off current, or it can be pulsed. One known arrangement is for the current to rise to a peak, then fall to zero, followed by a brief reverse flow.

A controller is configured to receive first and second fluid pressure signals indicative of the first and second fluid pressures, determine a total brake actuator force applied to the pushrod responsive to the first and second fluid pressure signals and control at least one of the first and second valves responsive to the total brake actuator force to adjust a corresponding one of the first and second fluid pressures and thereby obtain an adjusted total brake actuator force.
