The invention discloses a
system and method for continuously purifying a primary
coolant loop of a
pressurized water reactor nuclear power unit. The method for continuously purifying the primary
coolant loop of the
pressurized water reactor nuclear power unit comprises the following steps: using a special desalting
bed for major repair to perform purification treatment on the primary
coolant loopof the unit during the major repair period of the primary coolant loop of the unit; and during the
daily operation period of the primary coolant loop of the unit, using a chemical and
volume control system mixed
bed to perform purification treatment on the primary coolant loop of the unit. As two desalting beds are adopted to singly perform purification treatment on the primary coolant loop of theunit during the major repair and
daily operation periods of the primary coolant loop of the unit, function separation of the desalting beds during the major repair and
daily operation periods is realized so that the
special bed is dedicated and crossed
pollution is effectively prevented; resin in the special desalting
bed for major repair is filled for
volume reduction and
single use; during nextmajor repair, the resin is changed with new resin according to a resin
volume reduction standard; without changing the unit design, public major repair desalting bed equipment is independent purification of adjacent units, the crossed
pollution of the adjacent units is avoided, extra radioactive
solid wastes are not increased, the
radiation level of the unit is reduced, and the
radiation dosage of maintenance personnel is reduced.
