The methods include maintaining a relatively high temperature of the dielectric films while etching in order to achieve reduced solid residue on the etched surface. An absorbent article, such as a sanitary napkin, includes a top sheet and a back sheet with an absorbent core sandwiched therebetween. To decrease transverse leakage, a channeled acquisition distribution layer is placed between the absorbent core and the top sheet. The acquisition distribution layer has apertures and channels open toward the top sheet extending in the longitudinal or machine direction of the article. Waveguide or flow guide surfaces can improve the efficiency of fluid flow through tubes or over surfaces. When incorporated in a tube, the waveguides improve flow and function as sound absorbers making them useful in engine mufflers, firearm silencer/suppressors and jet engine exhaust attenuators. On surfaces, the waveguides can reduce fluid drag and find use on projectiles (e.g., bullets), airfoils for aircraft, and land borne vehicles. A Siemens type CVD reactor device is provided. One or more radiation shields are disposed between a rod filament and a cooled wall in the reactor. The radiation shield absorbs radiant heat emanating from the heated polysilicon rod during the CVD process, gets heated above 400° C., re-radiate the absorbed heat toward both of the polysilicon rod and the cooled wall, so as to provide thermal shielding effect to the cooled wall. The present invention relates to a method of regulating and controlling surface temperature of concrete or asphalt structure (the structure) and the like, as well as atmospheric or air temperature around the structure by encapsulating and containing temperature (thermal) control materials (TCMs) or/and water in the structure which constructs or constitutes pavements, roofs, parking lots, walls and the like. Volume ratio of water and one or more TCMs encapsulated and contained in the structure are from 0.01% to 99.99%. Based on simulation analysis, on one hand, the present invention, in summertime, can reduce the highest temperature on surface of the structure by up to 56.5% (reduced by about 46° C.), and reduce the highest temperature of air around the structure by up to 54.4% (reduced by about 48° C.), therefore “heat island” effect in urban areas in summer can significantly be reduced, thus saving cooling energy and benefiting human health. On the other hand, in wintertime, by the invention the surface temperature of the structure can be raised by up to 5.6° C., and the temperature of air around the structure can be raised by up to 5° C., accordingly heating energy demand is reduced.

Water-cooled extrusion equipment capable of operating at high temperatures in forming chemical and plastic components is highly subject to water-influenced corrosion of, and/or deposition of water-borne dissolved solids on, the narrow conduits carrying the circulating coolant and the system components and auxiliaries in contact with the coolant. The inventive water-based coolant circulated through the extrusion equipment's cooling passages is purified, thus having a reduced amount of dissolved solids and incorporates: (1) a yellow metal inhibitor for preventing corrosion and fouling of non-ferrous metals forming the coolant-bearing passages; (2) an organic/inorganic alkaline nitrogen-based compound to raise the pH of the water and reduce corrosion; and (3) a reducing agent to passivate the equipment's steel surfaces to reduce metal loss. The use of the inventive coolant increases reliability and operating lifetime of the extrusion equipment, while reducing equipment downtime and associated costs without modification to existing systems.

The present invention provides a bi-metal assembling method. The method provides a machine-shaped aluminum piece and places the machine-shaped aluminum piece into a die-cast mold. The machine-shaped aluminum piece is encapsulated with a magnesium metal liquid and die cast is performed. The assembled bi-metal structure is coated for protection and CNC high-gross treatment and anodizing treatment is performed in the machine-shaped aluminum piece. The magnesium alloy piece is hooked with the machine-shaped aluminum piece for assembling. The bi-metal structure has smooth surface to reduce the time for polishing, surface shrinkage and generation of blowholes. The present invention also provides a bi-metal assembled structure.
