The method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps: (1), respectively measuring the rotary viscosity at 60 DEG C, the penetration, the penetration index, the adhesion with coarse aggregates and the flashing point of the normal-temperature modified road asphalt; and (2), according to test results of the performances, determining application temperature areas of the normal-temperature modified road asphalt including a cold area, a warm area and a hot area. According to the invention, aiming at material composition characteristics and construction forming conditions of the normal-temperature modified road asphalt, the normal-temperature modified road asphalt is comprehensively evaluated in five aspects including workable performance, temperature sensibility, water-resistant peeling and use safety; the application temperature areas of the normal-temperature modified road asphalt are definite; and effective quality assurance is provided for engineering application of the normal-temperature modified road asphalt.
