This invention discloses a solar umbrella for urban sunshade,
flood control, and power generation, and its control method. It includes an umbrella column, umbrella ribs, and an umbrella
canopy. The umbrella column has a rainwater collection chamber, a power generation channel, and a drainage channel inside. The rainwater collection chamber is connected to the municipal sewer
system via the power generation and drainage channels, and a
water turbine generator is installed in the power generation channel. A first sliding block and a second sliding block are slidably mounted on the umbrella column. The main support rod of the umbrella ribs is hinged to the first sliding block, and the inner end of the main beam of the ribs is hinged to the second sliding block. A first motor is mounted on the first sliding block, driving it to move up and down. A second motor is mounted on the second sliding block, driving it to move up and down. Multiple sets of photovoltaic modules are installed on the upper surface of the umbrella
canopy. A
solar intensity sensor, a rainfall sensor, and a
wind speed sensor are installed on the top of the umbrella column. A
control room is located near the umbrella column, and the photovoltaic modules,
solar intensity sensor, rainfall sensor, and
wind speed sensor are respectively connected to the
control system in the
control room.
