The invention discloses a navigation system based on a holographic projection technology. The system comprises an information receiving device, a central processing module and a head-up display device, wherein the information receiving device is used for acquiring information such as the distance, the heat and the shape of an object in a vehicle front environment, the central processing module comprises a head-up display control unit, an augmented reality control unit and an ADAS control unit, the central processing module is connected with radar, an infrared sensor and a camera, the head-up display device is connected with the information receiving device and the central processing module, and the head-up display device generates corresponding projection light according to virtual image data, projects the projection light to the environment in front of a vehicle body and projects the virtual image of safety prompt information on the corresponding object. By using the invention, the information, such as straight running, lanes, steering, vehicle speeds and speed limit, of a vehicle can be intuitively and clearly displayed, a driver does not need to frequently shift sight and look at monitoring equipment in a low head way in the whole process, and therefore, the safety of the vehicle is greatly improved.
