The invention discloses a preparation method of ultralow ash content activated carbon. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out washing, high temperature carbonization, crushing and screening on biomass raw materials; adding synthetic resin into a carbide obtained by screening; uniformly mixing the obtained carbide containing the synthetic resin with an activator; carrying out compression molding on the obtained mixture, putting the molded mixture into a container, putting the container into a heating furnace and activating under certain temperature conditions; and washing, purifying, drying, crushing and screening the obtained activator to obtain a finished product of activated carbon. The obtained activated carbon has the advantages of low ash content (smaller than 1 percent), good performance and capability of being used for environmental protection, energy storage, catalysis and other fields.
