The invention provides a cylindrical
thermoelectric generator which comprises an octagon
exhaust pipe, a sleeve, thermoelectric generating assemblies, heat insulating
layers, radiating fins and cooling water jackets, wherein the octagon
exhaust pipe is divided into two end parts and a main body part, and the sleeve and the octagon
exhaust pipe are coaxially sheathed at the outermost side of the main body part of the octagon exhaust
pipe; the thermoelectric generating assemblies and the heat insulating
layers are arranged on each side of the main body part of the octagon exhaust
pipe; the upper end of each thermoelectric generating
assembly is connected with the radiating fin; the radiating fins, the thermoelectric generating assemblies and the heat insulating
layers are all symmetrically distributed on the main body part of the octagon exhaust
pipe with respect to the center of the octagon exhaust pipe; both sides of each radiating fin is respectively provided with a cooling
water jacket, the side end of the cooling
water jacket is connected with an internal through hole of the radiating fin, and the top end of the cooling
water jacket is connected with an external cooling
system; and the generator is fixedly connected with the outside by a
flange. The
thermoelectric generator can ensure the full contact between cold and hot surfaces of the thermoelectric generating
assembly, the stable generating power and convenient installation, and can be used in multiple situations.
