A Cellulose acylate film, in which X-ray diffraction intensity satisfies following formulae and a half-value width of the peak at 2θ2 is greater than 3° and not greater than 7°:0.40≦Ic2 / (Iam2+Ic2)≦0.75;Iam2I1+{(I3−I1) / (2θ3−2θ1)×(2θ2−2θ1)}; andIc2=I2−Iam2,wherein when it is assumed that θis the Bragg angle, 2θ1 and 2θ3 indicate 2θ at which the intensity becomes the minimum in the 2θ range of 4° to 5° and 14° to 16°, respectively, 2θ2 indicates 2θ at which the intensity becomes the maximum in the 2θ range of 5° to 10°, and I1, I2 and I3 indicate a diffractive intensity at 2θ1, 2θ2 and 2θ3, respectively.
