The gas generant compositions generate relatively more gas and less solids, and are safer than known gas generant compositions. Certain gas generant compositions ignite at lower autoignition temperatures thereby facilitating the use of an aluminum or light weight metal pressure vessel. Other gas generants self-deflagrate eliminating the need for other constituents in the composition. Novel methods for the synthesis of nonmetal derivative coordination complexes, guanidine and hydrazine for example, are also presented.

The method for preparing the modularized bud-opening powder for the display shell comprises the following steps of: preparing firework powder with granular micropores firstly; and then, bonding and forming the firework powder with the granular micropores to prepare a powder block matched with the display shell, wherein the process of bonding and forming the modularized powder comprises the following steps of: mixing a binder for forming, an ignitability reinforcing agent and the firework powder with the granular micropores; then, preparing the powder block in a specific shape from the mixed materials; and finally, drying the powder block. According to the modularized bud-opening powder, the problem of insufficient combustion of the bud-opening powder or powder residuals can be solved; the firing rate of bright beads is improved; the smoke generated in the bud-opening process is greatly reduced; and the process safety of firework products in the production process can be improved.

A safe environment-friendly novel pyrotechnic composition is used as a powdery colorful flower-forming spray composition, and comprises the compositions in parts by weight: 20-50 parts of a high-energy oxidizing agent, 30-60 parts of nitrocellulose, 1-15 parts of a colouring agent, 1-15 parts of a combustible effect agent, 1-10 parts of an adhesive, and 1-10 parts of a stabilizing agent. A preparation technology for the novel pyrotechnic composition is simple, the pyrotechnic composition prepared by employing the above formula is relatively low in friction sensitivity and impact sensitivity, far higher in chemical stability and safety than those of other pyrotechnic compositions, slightly smoky and environment-friendly after being combusted, and is widely applicable to various pyrotechnic composition products.

According to the preparation method, nitrocellulose containing water is taken as a base material; the nitrocellulose containing water, the solvent, the stabilizing agent, and the binder are delivered into a gelling kneading machine for gelling after a certain time of mixing; an obtained mixture is pressed into particles, the particles are dried and are subjected to moulding using a tablet machine so as to obtain pellets; and the pellets are coated with the coating material in a coating kettle, and are subjected to secondary drying. The obtained coated priming composition-free nail-shooting ammunition pellets possess excellent humidity resistance, and problems of the prior art, that drying efficiency is low, energy consumption is high, a large amount of dust is generated, combustion explosion is easily caused, and technology safety is poor, are solved.

Also, the internal pressure of the inflator manufactured by using the gas generator is reduced to 100 bar, and thus the inflator is manufactured so as to weigh 250g which is a remarkable reduction in comparison with 440g of existing product A and 330g of existing product B.
