A vehicle thermal management system includes an exhaust gas cooler configured to receive exhaust gas from the engine and to cool the exhaust gas before it is recirculated back into the engine. A valve is located downstream from the exhaust gas cooler, and is operable to control the amount of exhaust gas passing through the exhaust gas cooler. Intake air mixes with the exhaust gas downstream from the first valve. The mixed gas is then cooled by a mixed gas cooler before it enters the engine intake manifold. A coolant is circulated through the mixed gas cooler and a heat exchanger. The mixed gas rejects heat to the coolant via the mixed gas cooler, and the coolant rejects heat to the ambient air via the heat exchanger.

Apparatus and method are provided for cooling an electronic component. The apparatus includes a refrigerant evaporator in thermal communication with a component(s) to be cooled, and a refrigerant loop coupled in fluid communication with the evaporator for facilitating flow of refrigerant through the evaporator. The apparatus further includes a compressor in fluid communication with a refrigerant loop, an air-cooled heat sink coupled to the refrigerant evaporator, for providing backup cooling to the electronic component in a backup, air cooling mode, and a controllable refrigerant heater coupled to the heat sink. The invention discloses electroosmosis belt type squeezing sludge dehydration equipment, which comprises a stander, an upper squeezing belt, transmission shafts, a scraper blade, power machinery, a lower squeezing belt, a tension device, a rectification device, a filter belt, supporting wheels and a power supply, wherein the upper squeezing belt and the lower squeezing belt which are supported and driven by the transmission shafts have the same structure, namely a track type structure which consists of two chains arranged at an interval and an upper bridge plate and/or a lower bridge plate which are/is transversely arranged according to pitches of the chains; the upper squeezing belt and the lower squeezing belt are respectively connected with the positive electrode and the negative electrode of the direct current power supply and clamp the filter belt to enter a wedged flat groove of the stander, namely a squeezing region under an electrophoresis condition, so that water molecules in sludge flow towards the lower bridge plates with negative levels; and therefore, the squeezing dehydration efficiency is greatly improved, the sludge is reduced obviously, and the produced high-dryness sludge cake is favorable for later-stage recycling application.

A parts delivery management system and method that synchronizes production line side parts deliveries with a production schedule to facilitate delivering the right part to the right production line location at the right time. A consolidation center for receiving parts from suppliers is co-located with an assembly plant. Parts are received in returnable containers and organized for line side delivery according to the manufacturer's production schedule. Parts are delivered to production line locations using multi-cart “trains” that transport parts to the locations. Trains made of multiple carts are assembled throughout the production day and loaded with containers holding the parts that are then delivered line side. A delivery management system application executing on a computer receives production schedule data as well as part and container data to determine which parts are needed throughout the day at the various production line side locations and when they are needed.

A fluid treatment system and method for dissolving a gas into a fluid and subsequently allowing microbial or chemical reactions with the fluid mixture to decontaminate the fluid. The system comprises a pressurized gas transfer reactor, a depressurization device, a means of rapid dilution, a reactor, and a means of secondary clarification. Gas is dissolved into a fluid within the pressurized gas transfer reactor. The fluid is then transferred to the depressurization device where it is depressurized and diluted. Thereafter, or concurrently, the fluid flows into the reactor where microbes consume contaminants and dissolved gas within the fluid. The decontaminated fluid then either flows into a secondary clarification tank or membrane system where the bacteria within the decontaminated fluid are removed, or the fluid is recycled through the system. The method of present invention utilizes the system of present invention and operates pumps and a regenerative turbine or throttling valve.

A method of resistance spot welding aluminum alloy workpieces together includes several steps. In one step a welding electrode is provided. The welding electrode has a weld face. In another step, the weld face of the welding electrode is shaped to have a desired radius of curvature. The shaped weld face is then textured to a desired surface roughness, and resistance spot welding using the welding electrode is performed to the aluminum alloy workpieces. In yet another step, the weld face is dressed to an extent sufficient to remove contamination build-up that may have accumulated on the weld face from the aluminum alloy workpieces.

The product merchandiser may include a housing, a track, a door and a structure that produces sound. The housing has a proximal opening. The track may be disposed within the housing and directs products towards the proximal opening of the housing. The door is disposed near the proximal opening of the housing. The door pivotally connects to the housing and is movable from a first position to at least a second position. When the door is in its first position, a product is held at least partially within the housing. When the door is in its second position, a product is removable from the housing. A miniature fluid control device includes a gas inlet plate, a resonance plate and a piezoelectric actuator. The gas inlet plate includes at least one inlet, at least one convergence channel and a central cavity. A convergence chamber is defined by the central cavity. The resonance plate has a central aperture. The piezoelectric actuator includes a suspension plate, an outer frame and a piezoelectric ceramic plate. An actuating-type gas guiding device includes a main body and a piezoelectric actuator. The piezoelectric actuator is disposed in the main body. The piezoelectric actuator includes a suspension plate, an outer frame, at least one bracket and a piezoelectric element. The suspension plate has a first surface and a second surface. The suspension plate is permitted to undergo a bending vibration. The outer frame is arranged around the suspension plate. The at least one bracket is connected between the suspension plate and the outer frame for elastically supporting the suspension plate. The piezoelectric element is attached on the first surface of the suspension plate. In response to a voltage applied to the piezoelectric element, the suspension plate is driven to undergo the bending vibration in a reciprocating manner. A device for vacuum dehydration of a low-volatile liquid, the device including: a vacuum tank, a condenser, a water discharging device, and a pump for extraction of the gas-liquid mixture. The vacuum tank includes: a liquid inlet, an outlet, a mixed space of a gas-liquid mixture, and a gas-phase space. The condenser is disposed in the gas-phase space of the vacuum tank. The outlet of the vacuum tank is connected to the pump. The gas-phase space is formed above the mixed space and communicates with the mixed space. The gas-liquid mixture is discharged out of the vacuum tank via the outlet thereof by the pump. Water vapor in the gas-phase space is condensed and discharged out of the vacuum tank via the water discharging device.

A supersonic cooling system operates by pumping liquid without the need of a condenser. An inlet of the system may be pulsed to reduce energy required of a pump and to increase the cooling power of the system. The supersonic cooling system utilizes a compression wave in the generation of the cooling effect. The formation of the compression wave may be assisted by a resonance chamber. An evaporator of the cooling system operates in the critical flow regime.

A product dispensing unit is provided configured to house two products in separate tubes, wherein the two products may be simultaneously dispensed from the product dispensing unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the product dispensing unit comprises an outer channel configured to facilitate the flow of the first product flows from an outer tube cavity to a dispensing site and an inner channel configured to facilitate the flow of a second product from an inner tube cavity to dispensing site. The systems and methods also may include receiving a reservoir fluid through one or more inflow control devices.

The present application provides an exhaust system to exhaust combustion gases from a gas turbine engine. The exhaust system may include an exhaust collector and an exhaust stack with a silencer section. The silencer section may include a number of baffles therein.
