This invention discloses an automated operation and maintenance method,

electricity meters in a distribution network. The method includes: responding to a new meter association request uploaded by a metering terminal to verify if the new meter address exists in a preset metering archive; if not, creating a
temporary file for the new meter and issuing a
topology identification command to the metering terminal; receiving characteristic
current analysis results and new meter data from the metering terminal; updating the
temporary file based on the characteristic
current analysis results, branches, phases, and new meter data, and
synchronizing the updated
temporary file to the marketing
master station; receiving the operation and maintenance handheld device
verification results forwarded by the marketing
master station; if the
verification passes, instructing the marketing
master station to convert the temporary file into a formal marketing file, and instructing the metering terminal to write the formal marketing file into the new meter to achieve operation and maintenance. Therefore, this application can achieve efficient, accurate, and automated operation and
maintenance management after the installation of new meters.
