The invention discloses a multi-angle image acquisition device and a method for using the same, and relates to the field of feature recognition of power equipment. A transitional comparison device canonly detect the top, the front, the rear, the left, and the right of a PCB, can only detect a horizontally placed PCB, cannot acquire an image of a columnar component or a silk-screen printed component and a side component, and requires manual check and detection. The multi-angle image acquisition device comprises a control unit and an image acquisition unit. The control unit is provided with anautomatic control module for automatically acquiring, determining, adjusting and recognizing the image acquisition unit. The image acquisition unit comprises a device platform, a camera, a light source, an electric lifting platform, a fixing table capable of automatically clamping an object to be tested, and a steering engine that can be overturned in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction. By adjusting the angle of the steering engine in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction, high components of the PCB to be tested can be conveniently recognized from multiple angles, thereby improving the comparison accuracy and detection efficiency.
