The presence of a select analyte in the sample is evaluated in an an electrochemical system using a conduction cell-type apparatus. A potential or current is generated between the two electrodes of the cell sufficient to bring about oxidation or reduction of the analyte or of a mediator in an analyte-detection redox system, thereby forming a chemical potential gradient of the analyte or mediator between the two electrodes After the gradient is established, the applied potential or current is discontinued and an analyte-independent signal is obtained from the relaxation of the chemical potential gradient. The analyte-independent signal is used to correct the analyte-dependent signal obtained during application of the potential or current. This correction allows an improved measurement of analyte concentration because it corrects for device-specific and test specific factors such as transport (mobility) of analyte and/or mediator, effective electrode area, and electrode spacing (and as a result, sample volume), without need for separate calibration values. The analysis can be performed using disposable test strips in a hand held meter, for example for glucose testing.

A touch sensitive display assembly includes a touch screen and a button array. The touch screen is configured to display one or more input keys. The present invention provides methods for deflecting the routing data packets in an IP network to avoid overloaded links and to alleviate link congestion. One method in accordance with the present invention is, when the next link on the shortest route path is congested, to deflect a data packet to an adjacent node with a decreasing cost to the destination that is not the next hop on the shortest route path to the destination. A further method in accordance with the present invention deflects a data packet to an intra-PoP node with a small increase in cost to the destination to avoid a congested link. These and other methods in accordance with the present invention may be used alone or in combination as a method for deflection routing data packets to alleviate and avoid link congestion in an IP network.

A bicycle hydraulic disc brake master cylinder includes a housing having a bar clamp at one end configured for fastening the housing to a bicycle handle bar, the bar clamp receiving the handle bar along a clamp axis. A handle is pivotably connected to the housing to pivot about a pivot axis in operative association with a piston train to impart a drive force on the piston train. The handle defines a finger receptacle receiving at least one finger of a user defining an effective force point at a select distance from a distal end of the handle. A select ideal finger actuation path for the at least one finger of a user begins at a start point at the effective finger force point with the handle at an engagement point where the handle begins to drive the piston train against operative fluid resistance and extends along a line from the start point at a select angle relative to the clamp axis. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation including placing a first aqueous composition and a second aqueous composition in a subterranean formation. The placing includes injecting the first aqueous composition through a tubular passage in a wellbore. The placing also includes injecting the second aqueous composition through an annular passage in the wellbore.
