Aircraft kite

A kite in the shape of an aircraft having one or more wings. The number of wings can vary due to novel V-shaped connection members employed together with strut rod members cut to predetermined lengths. The connection members are preformed V-shaped connectors slidably mounted to spar members disposed in open-ended sleeves in the leading and trailing edges of a wing and may be oriented to receive strut members form either above or below the wing, for efficiency manufacturing, ease in assembly, and minimum exposure to breakage during operation, storage and transport. Additional connection members may be added to the spar members to receive strut members connected to additional wings thereby allowing for an airplane kite having one wing, two wings, three wings, or more. Multiple-V connectors may be combined to create hubs for propellers or wheels that rotate when they encounter a front wind. Ram air openings are utilized in the fuselage of the kite to maintain the shape of the fuselage and the angles of wings. Additionally, the wings are equipped with air scoop pockets for added stability and performance under a large spectrum of flying conditions and improved appearance of the wings without requiring spars along the out edges of the wings. Similar ram air openings or air scoop pockets are utilized in the tail fin members for increased stability and flight characteristics, the tail fins receiving air from either within the fuselage or from outside the fuselage, respectively.

Double-sided, Indexable Turning Insert

The invention relates to a double-sided, indexable turning insert having a polygonal basic shape, comprising a plurality of corners, a peripheral clearance surface, and identical upper and under sides, in which there are included support surfaces situated in a reference plane, which are parallel to each other and to a neutral plane, which is situated halfway between the reference plane and toward which the clearance surface extends at a right angle. Along the upper side as well as the under side, primary cutting edges are present, which individually include a nose edge situated in a corner and two main edges, which converge toward the same and are located in a nose plane inclined in relation to the neutral plane, and which transform into auxiliary cutting edges, which run parallel to the neutral plane and separate each pair of primary cutting edges along one and the same side of the turning insert, chip-directing guide surfaces being placed inside the chip surfaces of the cutting edges. According to the invention, the primary cutting edge has a generally positive cutting geometry so far that a wedge angle of the cutting edge between the chip surface and the clearance surface is acute in arbitrary sections along the nose edge as well as along the two main edges. In such a way, the primary cutting edge becomes easy-cutting and produces chips that can be guided in a careful, although distinct way by the guide surfaces being inside.

Interlayer filler material for touch panels, and touch panel laminate

The present invention aims to provide an interlayer filling material for a touch panel which is used for filling an interlayer space between a touch panel and another component or an interlayer space between transparent conductive films included in the touch panel in production of a personal digital assistant and enables production of a touch panel laminate that is less likely to suffer cracks or breakage in a surface protection panel or a glass substrate. The present invention also aims to provide a touch panel laminate produced using the interlayer filling material for a touch panel. The present invention relates to an interlayer filling material for a touch panel used for filling an interlayer space between a touch panel and another component, or at least one interlayer spaces included in the touch panel between transparent conductive films, between a glass sheet and one of the transparent conductive films, between a glass sheet and another glass sheet, between a glass sheet and a polarizing film, between a substrate and a glass sheet, between a substrate and one of the transparent conductive films, and between a substrate and a polarizing film, the interlayer filling material containing: a polyvinyl acetal; and a plasticizer, the interlayer filling material having a flexural modulus at 25° C. of 2.4×109 Pa or higher.
